Book has a slight lean, head and heel of spine are bumped, gold lettering on spine slightly worn, otherwise exterior is very good. Interior: hinges are strong; pages are unmarked, lightly toned, and very supple; a previous owner's name is rather gracefully inked on the FFEP and there is a small bookstore sticker at the bottom of the front paste down. The jacket has three areas of damage: there is a chip at the head of the spine, but it misses all the lettering; the heel of the spine has a chip, also missing all the lettering; and the front edge at both top and bottom have small chips missing; the spine looks to be very darkened ( see photo).
