Small 8vo. 570 pp. Later dark blue half-calf over blue cloth, neatly lettered in gilt. Lacking most of title page otherwise a very good copy. Containing a wealth of information about the Royal Navy's ships, officers and men, the Official Admiralty Navy List was first published in 1814, prior to which David Steel had independently produced a regular Navy List. The Admiralty List very much followed the format of the later Steel's lists but was, perhaps, a little more legible.
