Full black calf leather with hand tooled gilt titles and fillet lines to spine, 170 x 110 mm approx. all edges of book block stained crimson, 304 pp, Steel engraved frontis of the Angel appearing to to Joseph in a dream (possibly added in the course of a rebinding). Good (Book- rubbing/ shelf wear to extremities, no cracks to leather at spine edges, previous owner printed initials to book plate to front paste down. Paper of book block age tanned with occassional moderate marginal soiling from use and dust ingression, some marginalia and a few leaves have loss to margins- no loss of text.
