Period adverts at rear. Black endpapers front and rear. Pages bright and clear with mild tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Some marginalia, and minor pencil annotations to front pastedown and free endpaper. Previous owner's inscription to title page. Cracking to front hinge with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf wear with bumping to corners and rubbing and some staining to surfaces. Sunning to spine and crushing and fraying top and bottom.
