Illustrated wraps. Black and white photos throughout. A small booklet containing various general interest pieces, as well as the first part of a story by Stephen Crane, 'The Reluctant Voyagers.' This story was written in 1893, although through a series of mishaps in publishing, etc., was not published until this appearance (Sorrentino, Stephen Crane, p. 121). With a photo collection of children in humorous or cute poses, an article on Haverhill, Massachusetts, Boston women of foreign rank, etc. GOOD condition. Staining and rusting along the extremities and staples, with general browning, minor to moderate foxing and minor soiling to the wrappers. Corners curled and a bit creased. Small spot of insect damage along the top left edge. Minor scattered staining/spotting in the interior. Small area staining along the top edge. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 008847
