The foundation of the Christian faith is built on Jesus Christ and His Word to us, the Holy Bible. This Biblical Foundation Series includes elementary principles you need to help you lay a strong spiritual foundation in your life.

In this second book we will look at two of the six foundational doctrines of the Christian faith found in Hebrews 6:1-2—repentance from dead works and faith toward God: Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment (NKJ). We will learn that we must repent from trying to gain God’s acceptance by doing good things (Hebrews 6:2). Good deeds done to impress God or man are “dead works,” and they do not get us closer to God. Only true repentance leads to faith in God.

The foundation truths from the Word of God are presented with modern day parables that help you easily understand the basics of Christianity. Use this book to lay a solid foundation in your life, or if you are already a mature Christian, these books are great tools to assist you in discipling others. Each book can be used as a daily devotional and includes teaching outlines for each chapter.
