The outer covers of the brochure are printed on thick, cream-toned paper stock, printed in black & red with reproduction of a De Bry engraving on the front outer cover; the interior contains two loose pages inserted under a paper flap, these reproduce four color illustrations of Native Americans, on which the De Bry engravings were based. Reprints the Henry Steele Commager book review of "The New World" from the New York Herald Tribune Weekly Book Review, and short selections from other book reviews, as well as comments from leading historians (Charles A. Beard, Henry Seidel Canby, Allan Nevins, Walter Lippmann, Arthur Schlesinger, Jr.). With the imprinted ordering address of Philip C. Duschnes, New York, also on the outer back cover.
