A very scarce portfolio of chromolithographs from the mid nineteenth century of Nice. A very scarce copy of an untitled portfolio of chromolithographs in cloth binding.Inspired by and of Nice, France, in the mid nineteenth century.With six beautiful full page chromolithographs, four of which are lovely landscapes of the water, architecture and distant countryside by Guiaud, and two depicting every day village life by J. Felon In cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There are some light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. There is some spotting to the endpapers and age toning throughout. The first chromolithograph is slightly faded in colour. Overall the pages are bright and clean. Very Good.
