First blank before title foxed and last blank endpaper also, title page affected ever so slightly, some odd foxing areas to outer edges of some pages, but in margins and none severe quite light but noticeable. Front board almost detached connected by one sewn string/band. Small slim octavo (bound in 8's) Measures 19 x 12 cm. Very Good.There is an ink inscription inside cover which reads; This is the book Lord Oxford chose for Major Satter Thwaite Xmas 1927". Lord Oxford better known as H. H. Asquith. Prime Minister and Liberal Politician and also Chancellor of the Exchequer. There is a 19th century bookplate of Lt-Col. S Shaw also inside front board.
