date unknown, presumed late 19th century, originally in card covers - portion of spine is all that remains - lacks title page also, begins on first page of text, 121 pages plus 23-page catalogue of publisher's other issues. Text includes four full-page illustrations by Beard. Binding is stapled through, text is mostly clean, apart from foxing on couple of pages inside and dust-soil and dog-earing on outer leaves as pictured. Surprisingly perhaps, the text does not seem to have been read. First published in 1866 by JC Haney. This publisher retained links to Haney, as Haney's Exhibition Dialogues is one of the titles listed at rear. Scarce. The catalogue is to my mind the main point of interest here.
