This is a copy of one of his most scarce books. It is also an ex-library, but with very little library markings. Hinges are solid, but first signature has slightly shifted in binding. There is some corner bumping with frayed cloth and board starting to show, mostly bottom corners. Center of front cover has a paste-down illustration that has edge rubbing and miniscule chipping. Cloth has frayed at head and foot of the spine. Two light creases on illustrated fep, bookplate verso. Lightly pencilled catalogue mark in gutter of page beginning the story.
