Wanted in Canada on 18 counts of money-laundering, fraud, and theft, Albert Walker first dropped from sight in 1990. A financial advisor at the time, he disappeared amid accusations that he stole $3.5 million from investors in his Woodstock, Ontario firm. In England, he is accused of killing Ronald Plat, the man whose identity Walker had assumed.
Sought by the Ontario Provincial Police, Walker was also wanted by the U.S. Marshal's office and was the fourth person on Interpol's most wanted list.
This is the true story of Albert Walker's quest for lust, money, and a new identity, and how he was finally caught and brought to trial.
