London, Dean & Son Limited, 160A Fleet Street, E.C. 1906, First Edition. large format, 10¿ x 12 ¾¿ (25.5mm x 32mm) Book Condition: Good. Hardback book, paper covered, pictorial boards. No date but 1906 according to Copac. 14 pages (including endpaper pastedowns) of alphabetised nursery rhymes. Charming, period illustrations by Ingles Rhode in colour throughout. Boards are quite worn and heavily bumped and grazed to corners. Some scarring as a result of glue drying to binding inside but the only actual damage is one, small, closed tear to the last page. First page is a little grubby, centre pages just starting to loosen but otherwise the interior is in remarkably clean and well preserved condition, particularly given its age and children¿s audience and is entirely free from marking, writing colouring, or any other previous owner¿s names or inscriptions.
