Norwegian language. Bound in original stiff pictorial paper wraps; 392 pages. Perfect-bound with a photograph of the Statue of Liberty to the front wrap. Inscribed and signed by the author (on the front wrap) to Dr. (Lars M.) Gimmestad, President of Gale College (Wisconsin, and retired by this time); the front cover verso also carries the bookplate of his son, Herman, also a professor and noted Norwegian-American collector. The book appears to be the author's autobiography, dedicated to her father, Johann Storjohann, on the 100th anniversary of his birth. The wraps show mild rubbing, with a creased spine, but there are no chips or tears. Two short news clippings, in Norwegian, are laid in. A clean, tight copy. Scarce. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
