Decorative Cloith. Zustand: Very Good. First Edition. 619 pages. A monumental work organizing the statistics for the 43 events (some with up to six sub-categories) and the 7,717 student participants. Golf statistics appear on pp. 357 - 379, beginning with the first match in 1878. Oxford won the first encounter 24 holes to zero, but the Cambridge lads roared back the next season winning 12 holes to two. Fairly matched, the total stood at Cambridge 23 wins, Oxford 21 wins, 3 haved matches for the 57 recorded years. For some reason there was no match in 1881. Withdrawn from the Kroydon Public Libraries, several stamps but only one pasted label on the front pastedown, otherwise a very good copy. Covers protected in mylar. Size: 8vo - over 7�b" - 9�" Tall.
