The great success of the first edition, the discovery of new facts and the need for adding an account of more recent efforts to recover the treasure have led to this second edition and the almost complete revision of the story." The only textual difference between this 1967 and the later printing of the second edition (with wavy green money pit jacket) is the jacket flap blurbs. Jacket now in a removable archival sleeve.
