In fair condition. Boards are worn with rounded corners and edge wear. Joints shaken with chipping. Top segment of spine missing with binding exposed. Canadian currency taped onto front paste down. Some staining throughout with typical toning and moderate foxing. Binding remains intact. Please see photos. Dominque Jean Larrey (1766-1842) was a French surgeon in Napoleon s Grande Armee and an important innovator in battlefield medicine and triage.
