5 3/4 inches x 8 1/4 in., title-page with typographic ornaments; dedication page: "To the Instigator". 53 pp. Tan, textured paper card covers with titling in brown on the front cover. The covers show age-related tanning, dusting, light edge wear, paper clip mark at top of the front flyleaf. With the bookplate of Cleveland, Ohio based book collector, William G. Mather (1857-1951), on the front inner cover, and his 1922 Received stamp on the front outer cover. This copy also contains an engraved name card from Cleveland, Ohio philanthropist, Charles William Bingham (1846-1929), who has inscribed this message on his card" "Thanks" Amusing but not convincing. W. G. Mather possibly sent him this copy to read and comment on. A critical review of Architect Ralph Adams Cram (1863-1942) 1917 book: "The Nemesis of Mediocrity".
