Artikelbeschreibung des Verkäufers

Yankwich, Leon R. Oddities in California Law. Reprinted from The Canadian Bar Review for June-July, 1953. [1], 646-663 pp. Blue stapled wraps. Staples lightly rusted. "Compliments of Leon R Yankwich" to top of title. Letter addressed to Mr. Leonard H. Verbarg, from Leon Yankwich tipped in. A very good copy. $50. * A legal historical analysis by Leon R. The text analyzes how early California law was influenced by the era's social norms, including sections on "Prejudice in the Form of Law". The article is structured into several sections, including "The California Heritage," "The Common Law System," "Vestiges of the Old Systems," and "Conciliacion". The recipient of the author's letter is almost certainly Leonard Herman Verbarg (1903-1984), Californian journalist and local historian.…
