Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor:
Thomas Bernhard (1931–89) was a playwright, poet, and novelist. He won many of the most prestigious literary prizes of Europe, including the Austrian State Prize, the Bremen and Brüchner prizes, and Le Prix Séguier. Nicolas Mahler is a prolific writer and cartoonist. He has also reimagined Thomas Bernhard’s controversial play The World Betterer (Der Weltverbesserer) as a graphic novel, which will be published in an English translation by Seagull Books in 2018. James Reidel is a poet, biographer and translator.
