A lovely little copy of Goldsmith's poems and classic novel. With an embossed bookseller and bookbinder's stamp for Bennett, Langport to the front free-endpaper. With a bookbinder's label for Lewis and Sons, Gough Square, Fleet Street, London to the recto of the rear free-endpaper. Featuring a number of engravings on wood, including a frontispiece. In a decorative full morocco binding, with gilt edges. Externally, just a little shelfwear. Front joint just starting. Internally, generally firmly bound, although strained in a few places. Intermittent light spotting to pages and plates, with the odd mark. Ink inscription dated 1858 to front pastedown. Very Good. Bestandsnummer des Verk�ufers LTH2-F-7
