Open Space – Mind Maps verfolgt die aktuelle Entwicklung in der Schmuckkunst, die sich fernab vom bloß Dekorativen im ästhetisch-künstlerischen Diskurs unserer Epoche positioniert. 30 internationale Künstler präsentieren ihre Werke in der Publikation, deren Gliederung Topoi der aktuellen Tendenzen aufgreift, wie etwa den nomadischen Aspekt, die Neigung zur erzählerischen Bildsprache, zur grenzüberschreitenden Provokation, zur poetischen Imagination im Schmuck. Alle diese Facetten illustrieren als offene Kapitel die ikonographischen Schwerpunkte der Protagonisten aus aller Welt.
