In good condition. Boards are moderately worn along extremities. Corners rubbed with overall dryness to leather. Marbled boards scuffed. Interior age-toned with scattered foxing. Front gutter tender. Old hand ownership on top edge of title page. Binding remains intact. Free of known markings. Please see photos. Samuel Burder (1773-1837) was a divine, related to George Burder and brought up a as a dissenter. After being minister of an independent congregation at St. Albans he conformed to the Church of England, and was ordained by Bishop Barrington in 1809.
