HARDCOVER, 4 1/2" X 7", 1861 publication by Henry Bohn, LONDON, 508 printed pages, numerous engravings illustrating this poem in 12 "books", steel engraving portrait of John Milton AS FRONTISPIECE, several artists , beautifully bound book in 3 quarters, - with marbled boards, marbled end papers and marbled edges. Leather spine with 5 raised bands and gilt embossing.The small leather title on the spine is missing but for the gold "LOST". The leather corners are scraped along edges. About 1" faint water stain along top edge of body throughout. No markings, no foxing, otherwise clean and tight. 1861, the volume contains the Poem in "12 books". Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 002563
