Complete. ILLUSTRATED WITH 12 ORIGINAL WATERCOLOURS ON THE TITLES and one wash drawing, plus numerous extra plates on India paper and a folding plate of Morris-Dancers. Fourth edition with notes By Samuel Johnson and George Steevens. The watercolours are period or near period with the date of publication. The binding is in superb condition. A lovely eighteenth century edition with original watercolours. With the vellum bookplate of Edward Vernon Utterson 1775-1856 - a British lawyer, literary antiquary, collector and editor.
