Original card covers, 1937. Fair only condition - all pages present and legible - the bottom corner of page 37 is torn off, well below the end of the text. Small notations to the top of the front cover and the title page. Some pages have been colored in crayon - others are untouched. No bleed-through on pages that have been colored. There is soil to the covers and to some of the pages, and the low-quality paper is age-toned but no brittle. General edge-wear - it is showing it's age and use - but intact, spine solid and Eugene (the jungle pet) is adorable. 71 pp., tri-tone and quad-tone illustrations (except where enhanced with crayon).
