The 3rd edition, revised and enlarged. Very nice bright clean copy in olive green bevelled boards with gilt titling. 321 pages plus 42 page medical book catalogue. With original Errata slip pinned to rear end-paper (misprints have been duly corrected in pencil). Clean black end-papers with no inscriptions, some pencil writing to prelims and (contemporary?) annotations and some underlining in pencil in the text - obviously by a professional giving a somewhat cynical / critical gloss. Scattered foxing (brown spotting) to front and rear but nothing serious; slight stain on fore-edge foot corner affecting some pages (not text as not more than 7 mm). "The increased size of the present volume is due to the wish many persons have expressed for a book dealing more fully with the theory of Psycho-therapeutics."
