(Moveable) PUSH AND PULL PICTURES: A NOVEL MECHANICAL PICTURE BOOK. London: Ernest Nister, circa 1895. 8vo - 7" x 7-7/8". Green cloth backed color pictorial boards with slight edge and corner wear. Unpaginated (16pp.) including six full color, tab-activated, slat transformation (dissolving) pictures. Text pages contain poems as well as line drawings that correspond to one of the dissolving pictures. Internally, this book is in quite nice condition. Original endpapers are present but have somewhat darkened. This is quite a lovely example of a late nineteenth century Nister slat transformation book at the height of this type of book's popularity.
