Painting 14th - 19th Century; 3. Sculpture; 4. Ceramics and Metalwork; 5. Textiles and lacquer; 6. Architecture and Gardens. All volumes illustrated with numerous vignette black and white photographs and 50 full page photographic plates, 10 of which are in color but for volumes III {Sculpture} and VI [Archite4cture and Gardens] which include 3 and 4 color plates respectively. First editions, stated first printings of the Popular Edition, dated either 1957 or 1958. No previous ownership marks. End-papers moderately toned as per usual and jackets show varying degrees of wear, with some rubbing and loss to upper back-strips; volume IV [Ceramics and Metalwork] showing oval hole at upper spine. All books are clean, tight and unmarked. Dust-jackets are intact and moderately worn, but complete. All housed in silver and blue publisher's slipcase, which shows age soiling and rubbing, but is solid with no tears or splits. Very good set in generally good dust-jackets. Priority and International orders will require additional postage, calculated as close to actual cost as possible.…

Shopbeschreibung

We are a generalist bookseller who has been selling online since 2003. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best books at the best prices. As a used and antiquarian seller all of our copies are unique and our stock is limited by our ability to source new material from a variety of venues. We strive to describe our books as accurately as possible and have embarked on a policy of adding at least one photograph for each new listing added. Older entries in our database may not include a picture, if this is so please request one and we will gladly send it to you via email.…
