‘Pahaadi-The Storytellers’, an Anthology of winning short stories by authors with roots in Uttarakhand. Writers from Dehradun, Haldwani, Bagheshwar, Delhi & NCR and as far as USA, Canada, and Singapore participated in the contest. Age seems to be no barrier - the youngest participant 6-year-old and the oldest 92 years of age.

Stories explore a rich expanse of emotion and feelings, incidents, and episodes in the life of fictionalized character’s life. The first-time writers bring freshness, and the published authors balance it out with nuanced character building and ease of storytelling. Collectively they create the magic of Uttaranchal, exploring tradition, culture, love, relationships, fear, fantasies, and aspirations in a very contemporary real world. All there in Pahaadi.

Curator Sanjeev Kotnala

Sanjeev Kotnala from Uttarakhandi is now based in Mumbai. He is the author of ‘CHIMERA OF LANSDOWNE’, a story based in Lansdowne. Five friends must connect the dots and find the key and the time-widow is slowly closing for them.

He earlier curated two Anthologies. ‘LIFE RELOADED’ where professional from different fields shared their real-life stories that made them rethink their approach to life. And ‘REFLECTIONS’, life-impact stories by 1985 Batch-mates of IIM Ahmedabad.
