About the Author: In A long term meditator and Dharma teacher of Theravadin Buddhism, Dr. Lucinda Green began meditating in 1967. In 1969 she lived and studied in India. Dr. Green received Dharma transmission, permission to teach, from her root teacher Ruth Denison, and is a lineage holder in the Burmese tradition. In 1985, she returned to Sri Lanka to live monastically and study under the tuteledge of the Venerable Ayya Khema. Teaching Vipassana (Insight) Meditation since 1986, Dr. Green is the founder of Rocky Mountain Insight, the first Buddhist Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she teaches Buddhist Dharma and trains others in Vipassana.
