Peace of Grief offers readers a space to honor their unique journey through grief, while gently guiding them toward acceptance and peace. With a mix of poignant poetry and touching reflections, Amini beautifully captures the complexities of mourning while reminding us that love and light can still be found amid the darkness. Whether grieving a family member, friend, or even an unborn child, this collection provides solace, understanding, and hope.

Meetrah Amini was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She attended Baylor University and graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Communications and a minor in Sociology. After college, she studied and worked abroad in multiple European countries. As a woman of Persian and Hispanic descent, she enjoys being immersed in different cultures. After returning to Texas, she reconnected with an old friend from Elementary school at the gym. They were married, two weeks before the pandemic. After battling fertility struggles, they now share a son. Meetrah lost her father to cancer just 12 weeks postpartum. After that loss and multiple miscarriages, she was inspired to write this book as an outlet for that carried grief. She hopes to reach people experiencing grief on a personal level.¿
