One hand-colored plate, measuring about 10.5" x 7" (27cm x 18cm), depicting a group of whalers in the middle of a catch. The whale is blowing through its blowhole, and the exhalant is somewhat bloody, due to the harpoon. An exciting image, dating from the same period when "Moby-Dick" was published.
