Original plain wraps, nicely bound in cloth-backed marbled paper boards, "PENMANSHIP" stamped in gilt on spine; oblong 12mo (9.25-by-6.25 inches); pp. 16, plus a smaller tipped-in leaf. A beautiful penmanship practice book, this slender volume includes 6 pages showing the same word or stroke, hypnotically practiced over and over ("unon," "by," "manner," "love").
