Volumes IV, V, VII, XIV, XX, XXII and XXV are missing. All in Contemporary Brown Half Calf Leather Binding with Marbled Paper Covered Boards and Leather Corners. Gilt Lettering and Decoration to Spines. In Text Illustrations. Published between Vol I in 1833 and the Supplementary A - Z Volumes in 1845. Some scuffing tears to the marbled paper of the boards, 8 Vols having some pieces missing. A few minor tears and scuffs to the leather, a few volumes having little pieces missing (see photos). Pages generally in very nice, clean condition. A few pages have a little stain etc. A nice collection of a very interesting Reference, itself a History now.
