Despite being the founding document of our nation, the Constitution of the United States is not something readily understood. The framers wrote it so as to be interpreted by people, in the time in which they lived. Yet, we have a push for an "Original" understanding of the document, one which cannot ever be reached. With The People's Constitution, we find an attempt to reinterpret the Constitution, piece by piece, to reflect the demands of the modern era. This is combined with an analysis of issues, and possible solutions for dealing with these issues. Together, perhaps, we can find the interpretation for solving the political troubles of our era.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Born in New Hampshire two days after our nations bicentennial, Nathaniel Downes grew up in a political environment. The son of a NH state representative, living in the state capital of the first primary in the US, he has seen the political process up close and personal since a very young age. Having written for political news aggregation websites since 2012 such as Addicting Info, Reverb Press and Liberal America, Nathaniel does his best to present new ideas, concepts and interpretations on both current, and historical events.
