The Peppermint family is growing up fast. Pete, the oldest, is curious about what it would be like to be on his own, away from his family and friends. Join Pete as he goes to Summer Camp, where he will have the opportunity to meet new friends, have exciting experiences, and gain the independence that comes from taking chances and trying something new! This Treasury includes FIVE distinct stories that take place in the early 1950's and provide nostalgia and enjoyment for Grandparents, and Parents, while lending a unique experience of a time gone by for younger readers. Maloney opens up the world of this one of a kind family. A heart-felt remembrance of the past, The Peppermints series creates a new category of Vintage Modern.

Nikki Maloney has enjoyed writing since attending her first Poetry Workshop at the Fairfield Woods Library in Connecticut. She currently works as a Reading Specialist, and lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, three children, two dogs and guinea pigs. This is her second children's book.
