The first page has details of on the birds who fly 1500 miles from Arctic to spend 6 winter months in Ireland along the coastline, especially in the west and north and also on Lambay Island. The detail on the birds is headed "Barnacle Geese - Cadhain." The next page is the Chirstmas greeting Nollaig faoi Shean.agus faoi shonas" with both of the Haughey'snamed and with the Abbeville address. It is coloured a bright red,a lmost crimson colour.In 1985 Mr.Haughey was leader of the opposition. He became Taoiseach for the third time in 1987. This personalised card would have been sent to relations, friends, colleagues, certain constituents and supporters.
