Peter worked his whole active life in IT, and travelled the world buying books wherever he went. He earned money from IT but his true passion was history and historical artifacts; his particular interest was in military history but his interests also spread to biographies and autobiographies. He amassed an amazing collection over the course of 50 years but sadly the time has now come to downsize and he is having to disperse his obsessively-sourced books. I have set the shipping charges on the assumption that the book is big and heavy, but if it turns out to be cheaper than expected to send when I get to the post office, then I will issue a refund. It is much more straightforward for us to work this way than to try to request extra postage from purchasers on heavy items. Please get in touch with us, stating your location, how quickly you want your book, if you would like a more accurate idea of the shipping charges on an item. For valuable books (above £50) I will only use a recorded delivery service.
