In good condition. Light wear to extremities. Contemporary binding remains in nice condition. Four compartment spine with four raised bands. Spine is lightly discolored from sun exposure. Fresh lapis lazuli end papers free of markings. All gilt edges. Dentelles remain bright and clean, albeit somewhat rubbed along bottom edge and corners. Centuries old call tags and library numbers along with old hand remarks on end papers and title page. Ownership of Joseph Arnoult, a professor of medicine at Nantes in the 18th century on title page. Interior lightly toned with minimal foxing. A bit of edge staining, does not affect text. Binding remains tight and intact. Please see photos. A very scarce work of theology.
