Side folding tabloid format newspaper. 16 pp. Black and white illustrations throughout. Single issue of this underground newspaper embracing radical, left wing and socialist causes (with a Marxist-Leninist bent). Originating as the Temple Free Press at Temple University, it evolved from a college newspaper to a radical paper under the editorship of Bill Baggins. This issue with an announcement of the formation of the First All-African Peoples' Socialist Party, with its headquarters in Philadelphia and called Center for the Co-ordination of the Joint African Revolutionary Movement; in short peace printing a brief part of an interview with Kathleen cleaver on women's liberation, including a photo; news of undercover cops on Temple University; article on the 1960s cultural revolution that asserts it was made-up of mostly alienated white middle class youth, etc. GOOD condition.
