Numerous photographs taken of the newlyweds in April 1926 in Lugano, Morcote, Monte San Salvatore. The album continues through the year 1926/1927/1928 showing numerous destinations throughout the year, May 1926 Lenno, Tremezzo, Villa Carlotta, Como etc. July 1926 Edgewood. Rosapenna. On Board The Orca Aug-Sept 1926. Oct 1926 March 1927, Greenwich Lodge, Greenwich and Ridgefield Connecticut. April 1927 E. The Album continues with a large number of photographs of different scenes, buildings, places, people, and mostly children etc. etc. finishing at Brooknale on 14th July 1928. 61pp. Approximately 9 ½ inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine good condition dark blue leather, damage to the top with some slight loss. Joints good condition gently rubbed and worn, the rear joint is split almost half way. Corners good condition bumped and worn with some loss. Boards good condition quarter leather with gilt line, general signs of wear. Page edges good condition darkened. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition rear hinge is cracked, however both are holding. Paste downs good condition plain. End papers good condition plain. Title good condition there is no title. Pages good condition 61 card pages holding numerous photographs, some pages have become detached from the hinge and are lose in the album. Binding good condition. See photos Publisher: see above.
