No stated date but presumed to be 1924 (advertisements at the end of the book are for the series 1924-25). Forty-fifth (revised) edition, and presumed first edition thus. xvi, pages lettered A to Y with information on the British Empire Exhibition, 272pp., many maps plans and illustrations, and advertisements at the start and end of the book. This is one of Ward Lock's Red Guide Books to England and Wales. This edition is interesting for the inclusion of a section on the British Empire Exhibition of 1924. The book is bound in the original red cloth covered boards with black titling on the spine and front board and an edvertisement on the rear board. The case of the book is in very good condition with some shelf wear and light soiling on the boards and slight fading to the spine. The contents are tight and clean and all maps, plans and illustrations are present apart from a plan of the Underground Railways of London which is listed as facing page 41. A name has been written on the top edge of the front free endpaper and a bookseller's advertisement is tipped-in on the front fixed endpaper. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers gLondon02
