Two previous owners' names and dedications penned on first blank, dated 1833 and 1848 ("This is affection's tribute, friendship's offering / Whose silent eloquence more rich than words / Tells of the giver's truth and faith his absence [sic] / And says - 'Forget me not'"). Occasional foxing and minor general marks within; rare instances of light creasing and wear; one page edge chipped - all as to be expected of a book of this age. Text is clear throughout. TS.
