Red decorated boards with gilt title on spine which reads, Mrs Hemans Poetical Works, with illustrations, Copyright Edition. Boards are dulled and spine needs to to readdressed as front cover nearly detached but is still together and first few pages are loose, slight staining and general ware. A paste on white label on first page from Clonbrock Library and a dedication to previous owner dated 1874 on the following page 652 pages are clear and bright with occasional brown spots and speckled foxing mainly on the protective tissue guards from the illustrations. Gilt edges all around. Overall if the front cover and spine was addressed it would be very presentable. Usual toning and age appreciation should be expected. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers TSB7711
