Full red polished calf gilt by Riviere & Son with their pallet signature on the front free endpaper, gilt paneled back in six compartments, gilt lettering pieces in the second & third, gilt side & corner ornaments in the rest with gilt ship, horse head, fox, & anchor center ornaments. Gilt double fillet frames on both sides enclosing a large gilt vignette of a sailing ship on the upper side, gilt roll tooled side edges, inner gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Very good solid binding with a rub & a scuff at the back-strip foot, head-cap a bit nicked, spine a little darkened. Sheets clean, unmarked, complete. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 9093
