The collected poems of Thomas Gray, in an elegant full calf Eton College binding, illustrated throughout. An Eton college prize binding, with tipped in gift leaf, presenting the work to E. Lyttleton in 1911. Complete with half title. Featuring a frontispiece portrait of the author as well as decorative initials, head and tail pieces, and other full page plates of engravings of charming landscapes. Containing Gray's original poems as well as translations into English and Latin verse of the works of Petrarca, from the Anthologia Græca, and others. In a full calf prize binding for Eton college. Externally very smart with slight rubbing to the joints and extremities. The odd mark and spot to the boards. Internally firmly bound.
