The corners are lightly bumped and there is some shelf wear to the corners and head and tail of the spine; all edges are in gilt. The endpapers are yellow with some light foxing and an ownership description. The first few pages before the Full title page are age yellow and have foxing. There are two oval pictures, one a frontispiece and the other under the title, with some ageing, and then a full title page.
