Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only, back strip lightly faded. Internally, firmly bound. Previous owner's gift inscription to recto front blank leaf dated 1877, from Robert Woodhouse to his brother Alfred C Woodhouse, whose bookplate features to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound.
