Illustrated by 8 full- page tissue-guarded "elegant steel engravings." Bound in what appears to be red tooled leather, all edges heavily gilded. Gilt title on spine.Book is tight, but as might be expected with one of this age there is some rubbing on all edges, particularly the spine, and some shelf-pull on the top of the spine. A mostly erased old price inside. (Photos supplied on request.) Also, mainly on tissues protecting the engravings and the engravings, there is foxing. Regardless, it's wonderful and a must-have for a lover of old books and Byron's poetry. Engraving of Byron is lovely. Facsimiles of Byron's hand writing over the years are shown after the table of contents. Additional postage required to U.S. and foreign locations so this volume is protected in transit.
